Session/Elders
The governing body at Cottonwood Presbyterian is the Session. The role of the Session is to govern, lead, and guide the congregation with spiritual discernment and prayer. The Session consists of the pastor and 9 Elders elected by the congregation, serving staggered 3-year terms. Three Elders rotate off each year and 3 new Elders join the Session each year. They each work with the various committees of the church: Administration, Building and Grounds, Discipleship Ministry, Finance and Stewardship, Mission, Vision and Planning, and Worship.

Five members rotate off the board each year and 5 new members come onto the board each year.
