The Member Care Committee seeks to care for the people of Cottonwood by providing fellowship
opportunities as well as working to stay connected to the people who make up Cottonwood
Presbyterian Church. If you have an interest in participating in this critical work within the life of the
congregation we invite you to come and join the Member Care Committee. We look forward to the gifts you bring to our fellowship.
You May Be Wondering? - People have been asking, "So, why aren't we doing this anymore?" or "Why isn't that happening?" These are great questions. The simple answer is that people who have been providing leadership in our congregation's life have decided to retire. We give thanks for their years of wonderful service. The area of our congregational life most affected has been Member Care which includes Fellowship events. We are so grateful for many of you who have stepped in and signed up to host the Fellowship time after church. We invite people to step up and take leadership for other areas that you notice do not have leadership at the moment. If you want to get involved with Member Care/Fellowship/New Members/ Visitors we would love to have your help. The Member Care Committee meets on the 4th Thursday of the month in Pastor Tom's study. We are in a time of our history where we need people to step into areas of leadership. Is there an activity, or a program that happens once a year or periodically, or a brand new idea that God has placed on your heart? If so, talk to Randy Urbom or Pastor Abbott. They would love to hear from you.
