Letter Carriers Food Drive - The Letter Carriers' Food Drive is coming up on Saturday, May 11. We are looking for volunteers to help move, sort and store between 25,000 and 30,000 pounds of food in just a few hours. Shifts will be from 3-5 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Most volunteers will be assigned to help at Crossroads, although some heavy lifters will be needed at the post office. Children 7-12 must be accompanied by an adult. It is not appropriate to bring babies or toddlers along as we will be outside in the parking lot. We also have need of someone with a large cargo van or box truck to help move food. Pickup trucks are much too small. Sign-ups will be first come-first served. A-Mazing May - Donations generally drop off during the summer months. Higher demand items we can never keep in stock... so we are asking faith communities to help us collect extra clothing in May. Each Sunday we are asking you to focus on some of our most needed items and donate those things that particular week:
- 5/5 “Undie Sunday” - We need men’s, women’s, and kids’ underwear
- 5/12 “Donate to Honor Mom” – give a monetary donation, then send a card and tell her what you did! She will be proud of you!
- 5/19 “Sock It to Me” – Bring socks for all ages!
- 5/26 “Wrap It Up” - We are wrapping it up this week...bring towels and blankets!
